Cómo se hizo / The making of

Grandes noticias! He terminado el trabajo a lápiz de mi novela gráfica, y para celebrarlo, voy a contaros el proceso de crear cada una de las 187 páginas que tiene el comic en total.

Great news! I finished pencil drawing my graphic novel, and to celebrate, I'll tell you about the process of creation of each of the 187 pages of the full comic.

Paso 1: Guión

Step 1: Script


Paso 2: Storyboard. Me gusta planificar mis páginas de forma muy visual sin pensar en los detalles, así que me hago estas miniaturas anotadas para pensar en la página en conjunto.

Step 2: Storyboard. I like planning my pages visually without thinking about the details, so I draw for myself these miniatures with notes, so that I can think about the page as a whole.



Paso 3: Lápiz.

Step 3: Pencil.



Paso 4: Entintado de personajes y primer término.

Step 4: Ink characters and foreground.



Paso 5: Entintado de fondos.

Step 5. Background inking.



Paso 6: Acabados. Limpiar el lápiz y mejorar el contraste para eliminar los grises

Step 6: Cleanup. Clean pencil and enhance contrast to remove gray areas


Paso 7: Añadir textos y bordes

Step 7: Add texts and borders



Y ahora toca volver a la mesa de dibujo, para pasar a tinta las más de 100 páginas que tengo pendientes. Serán unos meses de trabajo muy interesantes. Os mantendré informados!
